- Before any of you read any of these blog posts I hope that you will understand this first and foremost: This blog is NOT ABOUT ME. Instead, this blog is about the merciful, gracious, patient, and just: Savior of the world, Jesus Christ, who, over two thousand years ago chose to submit himself to the humanly limitations of this world in order to reveal himself as God in every way and to SAVE US from that which we never could: ourselves and the sin that so entangles us. He died so that we might live, rose from the grave three days later, and ascended into heaven with the gift of His Holy Spirit to direct those who call on His name. And surely, if you "confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Rom 10:9) My hope is that this blog will be a demonstration of God's love and power in the lives of his people, and that He will use this meager testimony to draw others to himself, by HIS doing alone and not through anything I could ever do because it is of Him and "not the result of works, so that no man may boast". (Eph. 2:9).
